Car and Driver Sites 2019 Chrysler Pacifica as its Best Van of the Year

Every year, the venerable auto publication Car and Drive rolls out a red carpet for its best vehicles of the year. Experienced automotive journalists spend time comparing models across a range of classes from the industry's respected auto makers.

This year, Chrysler came home with a big win: Car and Driver has named the 2019 Pacifica its Best Van of the year. In a brief write-up, the publication notes some of the standout features and attributes in the new Pacifica.

"With SUVs the de facto choice for family vehicles, could it be that the purchase of a minivan has become radical and chic?" the review asks. "That's debatable, but what's beyond debate is that the Chrysler Pacifica is the best minivan in the land."

In particular, Car and Drive took note of the Pacifica's powertrain.

"The potent 287-hp 3.6-liter V-6 mated to a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic motivates the van with authority."

There review also pays lip service to the ever-popular Stow 'N Go seating, which allows for dozens of seating arrangements and a healthy 140.5 cubic feet of cargo space.

Don't take our word for it though. To really get a feel for the Pacifica, you'll want to try it for yourself. Stop by for a test drive and you can test out features like Uconnect infotainment or Apple CarPlay.
