The 2016 Chrysler 300 is available in four trim levels. These trim levels include the 300 Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum. The standard equipment for the Chrysler 300 includes 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a rearview camera, keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated eight-way power front seats with four-way power lumbar adjustment, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and 60/40 split folding rear back seats. The standard engine for the Chrysler 300 would be the 3.6-liter V6 that is able to produce 292 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque. When equipped with the 300S trim, the engine is able to produce 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft of torque. The standard transmission comes with rear-wheel drive. There is an optional engine that is available on all but the base trim level. This engine would be the 5.7-liter V8 that produces 363 horsepower and 394 lb.-ft of torque.

Design of Chrysler 300

The 2016 Chrysler 300 has an interior cabin that is equipped with extensive soft-touch materials and is also full of rich furnishes. The visual flair only builds as you travel through the trim levels, as well. There is a standard 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen interface that is paired with large buttons and clear graphics while also having a logically structured menu. A few new features for this system include drag-and-drop functionality, Siri Eyes Free, and a do-not-disturb function. There is also a diverse range of audio options which include the Alpine system, Harman Kardon system, and the Beats Audio setup.

Standard safety equipment on the 2016 Chrysler 300 includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag, a rearview camera and active front head restraints. The standard Uconnect Access system includes automatic crash notification, on-demand roadside assistance, remote door unlocking and stolen vehicle assistance, while the optional SafetyTec Plus package (offered on all but the 300 Limited) adds forward collision warning and mitigation with automatic braking, lane-departure warning and prevention and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
